\nPrenzlauer Berg is one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Berlin. Kopenhagener Strasse 57 is located in close proximity to the famous “Mauerpark”, adjacent to the old power station at the corner of Kopenhagener Strasse \/ Sonnenburger Strasse.<\/p>\n

Today, the old power station is a landmark of industrial architecture and a listed building. It was built in 1925 by the architect Hans Heinrich M\u00fcller and is a wonderful example of timeless architecture set in bricks. Known as “Umspannwerk Humboldt”, is it home to numerous high-tech and start-up companies -a think tank for young, creative and international companies.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

A housing project with 41 flats will be built at this site, namely: four townhouses, 16 compact two room apartments, 12 three to four room apartments and two spacious penthouses on top. The penthouses offer fantastic views over Berlin with its “Fernsehturm”, the TV tower located at Alexanderplatz. The front of the house conveys an elegant and urban impression. The flats on the garden side have south-facing balconies and loggias and offer a Mediterranean flair. Completion is scheduled for early 2021.<\/p>\n

It is particularly popular with young families. “Sch\u00f6nhauser Allee”, the lively and popular main road in Prenzlauer Berg, is considered to be the backbone of the district. “Prenzlauer Berg” has experienced an incredible renaissance in the past couple of years and has become extremely popular with young media workers, artists, writers and all sorts of creative minded people. The entire area is characterized by a previous peripheral location but exactly this is now the quality of this location – an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the heart of this vibrant city! This neighbourhood has a very good connection with Berlin – Mitte via Mauerpark, which is nearby. The farm for children, so called “Moritzhof” is located in the Mauerpark, in close proximity to our plot. The park itself is a very popular meeting place. A flea market is held there every weekend. Next to the park is the Max-Schmeling-Halle located which hosts events in sport, concerts and exhibitions.<\/p>\n

Late 19th century block structure, some new housing, a lot of play areas and little cafes and shops characterize the flair of the street. There are a lot of nursery\u2019s and a primary school in the immediate neighbourhood. Lots of possibilities for sport activities, arts and culture and a wide range of culinary highlights complete the offer of leisure opportunities. The plot self is situated in between the S-Bahn Station Gleisdreieck and the S\/U-Bahn Station Sch\u00f6nhauser Allee. From there you will be in 20 minutes at the Alexanderplatz.
